All of our classes, except Spanish, are generally 1-1/2 to 2 hours per day. Spanish is 2 hours of class plus 1 hour of lab per day.
A 2 class program is a perfect balance of learning and fun, with plenty of time to explore and relax.
Two class combos range from 3-1/2 to 5 hours of class per day Monday – Friday. Combine any of our classes to build an unforgettable Learning Vacation.
3 program combos are our best value and ensure that your days are spent exploring your passions.
3 class combos include up to 6 hours of class per day including an rejuvenating after sunset yoga session.

That’s a great question.
We only require a $200 non refundable deposit per item booked to reserve your spot. Your balance will be due upon arrival. After you book, we’ll send you an email with the information you’ll need to pay your final balance.
Our Shared guest rooms are double occupancy and they have private bathrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, hot water, refrigerators, cotton sheets and comfortable beds. If you are traveling with a friend, you can book for your friend during checkout, or let us know and we’ll pair you together in the same room. If you are traveling solo we will pair you with someone of the same gender and age range. These are a great value if you want to save money by sharing a room with a fellow traveler.
Our Private rooms typically have one full size and one single bed, and like all of our rooms they have 100% cotton sheets, air conditioning, ceiling fan, private bathroom, hot water, and a refrigerator. If you would like to share one of these rooms with a fellow traveler, let us know the name of the friend you are traveling with and we will pair you in the same room. Private rooms are available on a first-come first-serve basis and all prices are double occupancy. If you’re traveling with a friend and they want to take classes please book a class only option for them.
Our Deluxe Private rooms are located upstairs and are studios with wood sliding doors that open to the deck. They have super comfortable king size beds, cotton sheets, complimentary bath towel service, A/C, refrigerators, private bathroom, hot water and ceiling fans. They are great for traveling couples, or for just spoiling yourself! With their loft-like feel and oversized bed, they are our most beautiful rooms. Deluxe Private rooms have limited availability, so book early. All prices are double occupancy for our Deluxe Private rooms. If you’re traveling with a friend and they want to take classes please book a class only option for them.

It is super easy to book for multiple people even if their itineraries are different from yours. Just select everything that you want do specific to your trip, then add it to your cart. When you’re in the cart you will see a link to add another person to your booking. Just click and follow the instructions. If you ever have any questions please chat with us, or send us an email and we will help you.
Do you want to explore different class combo options during stay? No worries! Just book the combination that you want to start with and let us know in the comments that you are interested in trying a different class during your stay. We’ll contact you after you book to help you create a custom itinerary. Unfortunately, it is not an option to change classes, or program combinations mid-week, but if there is space we are happy to add you to the following week’s schedule. You just need to let us know by Wednesday if you want to change classes for the next week. Additional rates and restrictions may apply.
You must already be enrolled in at least one class for these prices to apply. The cost is $40 for a one surf class drop-in, or $200 to add daily surf classes for the week.Â
The closet airport to the School is Juan Santa Maria International Airport(Airport code SJO). in the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose.  It is about 1 1/2 hours from the airport to the School. We can book a private shuttle for you from the airport to the School for $90US. A driver will be waiting for you outside of the airport with your name on a sign and will whisk you as quickly as possible to the school. If Leo is your driver he will tell you all about everything you see on your trip. FYI, we are not affiliated with the transfer service and we do not charge anything to schedule the service for you. You are responsible for paying the driver directly when you arrive at the school.
Please understand that there are no refunds if you reduce your class number, or decide not to attend your classes.Â
If you think you may want to upgrade from 2 classes to 3 classes during your stay we highly recommend that you just book a 3 program combo now. This will give you the most flexibility for multi-week trips and is our best value. Due to instructor scheduling and overall schedule constraints we only offer the amazingly affordable upgrade price prior to arrival.
